Left turn to Albuquerque! HE MADE IT!!!!! 6th in U20!

December 7, 2008 • Paige

We Are Going To The Junior Olympics!!!!!!!

Connor was amazing today. I’m hyperventilating and I can barely type. He qualified for the Junior Olympics in the TOUGHER competition. I think it was because he “knew” how it would go and put NO pressure on himself.

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!!!
I have to sell my car (sokay I have my motorcycle) and a WHOLE LOT OF CANDY to raise the money to make this trip. What a wonderful problem to have, eh? 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂

Connor did well today. He placed 7th in his event. This did not earn him a spot at the Jr. Olympics, so he is a bit disappointed but he’s taking it well and mostly has the right attitude. He had a good time, and the tournament was exciting and tiring and everything else it needed to be. There were some bad calls made, but that is also part of life and learning. Oh, also Connor’s Mamaw Bass showed up to watch – I’m so glad that she made the effort.
